Nowadays most people associate fitness with weight-loss. In fact, when somebody says that he or she is
going to the gym, most people will instantly say: Oh, are you trying to lose weight?
But is that really all that we are trying to achieve?

Here at Marion Personal Training we have a different philosophy.  We train to improve.
not just on the scale but in all areas of fitness.
We train people to be stronger, faster, healthier and last longer. Sure, it is great that you lose weight in the process but weight loss is merely a side effect of your body getting fitter.

The personal trainers at MarionPT have the tools to help you perform better. The goal is NOT to smash you as hard as we can but to train you up to use functional training as a weapon for self-improvement.

Sandbags, Battle rope, Barbells, Tractor Tires and Kettle bells can be great instruments to improve your fitness but they can be very dangerous as well if not used properly.
So we do use them with clients but ONLY when you are ready.

The same goes for plyometric training. Plyometrics are exercises where we use the stretch reflex of the muscle to create an explosive movement. This is an amazing type of workout that can really help you to run faster and improve your athletic strength.  We can help you to train like an athlete in a structured and professional way without the high change of injuries.
